Emil and Alessia, June 1st, 2019
This time, I photographed among new, unfamiliar mountains that immediately captured my heart, just as they did for Emil and Alessia, who chose to celebrate their wedding in this beautiful scenery.
The intimate ceremony took place in the small church dating back to 1858, located near the Zallinger refuge on Alpe di Siusi (South Tyrol).
It was a heartfelt and lively ceremony, thanks to Don Daniele and the guests who actively participated in the event.
The day continued at the refuge in a traditional “stube”.
The hours flew by between delicious dishes and the sound of the accordion.
The surrounding landscape of the Dolomite allowed me to capture some special shots.
The snow still present, the crocus flowers just beginning to bloom, the blue sky with a few white clouds—these were the perfect backdrop to immortalize the day.
But undoubtedly, the most emotional shots were those with Michele and Camilla, their children.
While encouraging them to play, I was able to photograph the entire family in a natural and spontaneous way.
